If you are unsatisfied with the edit, please feel free to rollback the edit or simply re-edit your question as you please. I agree that the edit is inappropriate and likely would have been rejected if it had entered the review queue (This edit deviates from the original intent of the post. I also have noticed a trend towards poor-quality questions becoming abundant. I think there are several reasons for the overall quality being relatively poor at this stage: The number of active reviewers has dropped; at this time there are 57 close-voted questions in the review pane. It is perfectly acceptable, even encouraged to edit titles that are too vague or misleading. Titles are very important, a bad or misleading title makes it harder to find stuff and also might lead to the question being overlooked by users that could answer it. This means that we will continue to get a flood of questions from people who only want a free answer. This makes it difficult to know whom to advise ...

However, if you think your answer(s) can stand on their own as each fully answering the question (in such a way that it/they follow(s) our answer guidelines), then I'd say splitting the answers is appropriate. We could also turn toward Meta StackExchange for more ...

It seems that edits that only add one or several tags should be accepted. Copying the comments in case they get deleted: I think it's quite simple; if the tags are relevant - accept, otherwise reject. – AliceD♦ ↵ yesterday I would accept such an edit. – Bryan Krause♦ ↵ 18 hours ago
